As part of the "Embrace Vincent” multimedia tour, DJ Armin van Buuren performed live at the Dutch Van Gogh Museum underneath a spectacular 3D cube that was mounted several meters above ground level.
Alda Events called on ShowTex to create the 3 by 3 meter mirror cube, generating mesmerizing kaleidoscopic effects above the fivefold winner of the "Best DJ in the world" award.
Five of the cube’s faces were fitted with silver GiantMirror foil, exactly made to size to obtain a perfectly sleek mirror effect. Two sides were backed with DekoMolton masking fabric to keep out the ambient light and enhance the kaleidoscopic effects during this unique showcase.
Van Buuren brought the projected Van Gogh paintings to life to the rhythm of his beats, while more than 9 million people from all over the world watched the performance live on Facebook.
