Amazing Stage Fabrics in Motion

Cannes Film Festival

Cannes, France
May 2011

The festival's Agora Pavilion is centrally located in the international village, a stone's throw away from the famous red carpet. It's not only the meeting place for the organizers of the Cannes Film Festival, it's also the place where judges like Jude Law, Uma Thurman and Robert De Niro go for lunch. The opening and closing dinner, the dinner selection and the closing party also took place here.

Lighting for the festival's modern Agora Pavilion was installed on a winding organically shaped truss structure, completely covered in black ShowTex TrusSleeve. The  fabric's refined finishing enables the structure to blend seamlessly into the architecture of the pavilion.

Sleek TrusSleeve truss covers transformed the trusses into a decorative feature. Black TrusSleeve not only makes it possible to cover up and hide truss structures; in combination with a colored ceiling it transforms them into impressive pieces of scenery.
