Princess of Trebizonde

Saint-Etienne, France
June 2013

"La Princesse de Trébizonde" by Jacques Offenbach is known for its fine humor and elegance and was first performed at the Theatres des Bouffes-Parisiens in 1869. Stage director Waut Koeken presents his own version of the original opera on stage at the Opera Theatre of Saint Etienne and this is complemented with an authentic carousel from the 19th century.

Safety first! Set designer Benoit Dugardyn used only M1 certified flame retardant materials for the realization of the set. ShowTex supplied a 15 m long curved H100 curtain track. Rail H100 is an all-round system with manual or electric control for medium-heavy to heavy curtains.
