Tourist LeMC

Antwerp, Belgium
April 2019

The Belgian Lotto Arena was sold out completely for the self-acclaimed "troubadour of Antwerp", addressing his audience standing in front of an impressive modular StretchTulle backdrop.

Projecting on elastic mesh

The visually appealing show featured 6 custom-made honeycomb structures that served as fabric video screens. The elasticity and no-sew finish of StretchTulle makes it perfect for creating shapes of this kind. Combined with projection, the see-through mesh allows for amazing effects on stage.

A grey scrim for better contrast

During the show, the different mesh panels repeatedly displayed the full skyline of Antwerp city. To ensure a good contrast-ratio on the transparent projection material, a grey-coloured StretchTulle was definitely the way to go.
