Efteling Symbolica

The brand-new Efteling attraction, Symbolica, recently received the international THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement. As an established partner of the Dutch theme park, ShowTex was closely involved in the realisation of this beautiful family ride and we are obviously very proud of this “Theme Park Oscar”!

Every year, the prestigious prize is awarded by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), the global organization of designers and developers of theme parks. The experienced jury was very impressed by the so-called Palace of Fantasy and described Symbolica as "a world-class attraction in which a story is brought to life in an innovative way."

Symbolica takes its visitors through a gorgeous setting full of jaw-dropping surprises and countless details: small figurines, royal furniture, stuffed animals, elegant chandeliers, magic mirrors, a lot of gold and heavy curtains. It is a wonderfully decorated palace where magic rules and nothing you see is what it seems.
