Are you ready to gain practical, hands-on experience in the U.S.? The J-1 Traineeship offers professionals with a degree and at least one year of related experience or those with five years of relevant experience the opportunity to train in a dynamic and creative environment for up to 18 months.

NOW HERE'S YOUR DREAM TRAINEESHIP

As a Sales & Project Management Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic and fast-paced world of event production and project management. This traineeship offers a unique blend of practical learning and strategic development to prepare you for a career in sales, project management and client relationship management.

DEVELOPMENT

Now roll up those sleeves, it’s time for some ground work. By setting up prospection meetings and participating in trade shows or events, you will get to know the market, competitors and trends like no other. The great organizer in you will, however, do proper research and planning first, before attending them, as you know preparation is key.

SALES

Commercial drive? check! No doubt your focus is proactive sales because that’s what makes you tick. You love creative problem solving and finding the best solution for your clients, nursing them with the right samples or marketing material and calculate feasible price estimates. Customer satisfaction is always the goal. And as we’re never too cool to pick each other’s brain around here, you will consult colleagues and other departments along the way.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

You love the thrill of managing a challenging project from A to Z. On-site meetings, surveys and measurements as well as briefing your colleagues of production, transport and installation. You know the drill. Obviously, you are available from start to finish, even during the event if needed, and all along the way you never forget to communicate with your clients. Even after the sale, because they will be so keen to tell you all of their feedback! And you would never miss a chance to optimize your and our way of working.


CURIOUS HOW WE SEE YOU?

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

No doubt your communication skills ensure you can speak and write English fluently.

Having a first experience in a similar field or function is a plus, but not a must – we will teach you everything and turn you into a ShowTex specialist. If you already have a network, fantastic! If not, we’ll build one together with you. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn make you a valuable partner in the expansion of ShowTex in Las Vegas and the West Coast of the United States.

PERSONALITY AND SKILLS

  • Great communication, organizational and negotiation skills, driven by a strong commercial insight.
  • Quality-oriented problem-solver with technical knowledge, who is resourceful and fast-paced.
  • Always maintains an optimistic and hands-on mentality, even in stressful situations.
  • Able to autonomously organize and coordinate a project, meeting the deadline set
  • Good budget control skills and capable of accurate administrative work
  • Driven, eager to learn and ready to pass on knowledge
