You know those drapes that define a theatre? Or the scenic fabrics that create a mood on stage? That's what we do. Event decoration, trade show displays, fabric reveal systems…? Yup, that too.
As a global leader in inventing, developing and installing highly innovative, flame-retardant textiles and suspension systems, we spend our days tackling the most creative challenges in set, stage and stand design. You can find ShowTex offices in Europe, the Middle East, North America, South Africa, Asia and Australia, but your home base and our head office is located in Burcht, Belgium.
Admin and communication talent? Check! As the Junior Purchaser, you’re the main link between our departments and suppliers. You support both our sales and technical R&D department by buying technical parts. A problem with a delivery? Nothing to worry about! You never lose focus and always have a plan B in mind.
You know better than anyone how to place and follow up on orders for our internal production and external sales. Finding the right balance between price, quality, delivery time and the customer’s needs is your main focus. You do this by negotiating swiftly and correctly with suppliers.
TRAINING AND EXPERTISE
As a jack-of-all-trades in administration, you’ll certainly feel at home here. You work effortlessly with a computer and are always up to learning something new. Do you have previous experience in purchasing? Great! Worked with Navision or another ERP software before? Even better!
Being the main link between the departments and suppliers, you know that communication is key. Thanks to your English and Dutch knowledge, you easily navigate through our international company. Can you surprise us with a little French or German? That’s a big plus!
PERSONALITY AND SKILLS
You see solutions instead of problems and with that positive attitude, you add to the great team dynamic every day. Are your mathematical and technical insight also on point, then we couldn’t be more pleased.
With your great organisational and administration skills, you’re always on top of all ongoing processes and the internal stock. This enables us to offer our customers the qualitative products and service that ShowTex is known for.
