The Laureus World Sports Awards are essentially the sporting equivalent of the Oscars. During the globally televised awards ceremony, all nominees and winners were presented to the public using a ShowTex RP Grey screen. This low gain twin projection screen was the perfect choice for the spectacular 3D visuals filling the stage.
Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel and American swimming sensation Missy Franklin were named Laureus Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year.
