ShowTex velvet main curtain in traditional Wagner opening at the Hålogaland Teater in Norway.
Theatre & venue
ShowTex was commissioned to install a carmine red Wagner curtain and giant mirror on stage at the Norwegian Hålogaland Theatre for multiple productions.
Founded in 1971, Hålogaland Theatre was the first professional theatre in Northern Norway. A carmine red Wagner curtain and a 3m by 12m GiantMirror by ShowTex set the stage for The Black Rider, a modern musical based on a classic story of one man's dubious deals with the devil. The stage as well as the performers were reflected in the mirror as it was angled towards the audience, creating a unique atmosphere and special effects during the show.
