Renting ShowTex curtains and projection screens is simple. With the right care and handling, every product stays in top condition and ready for the next production. These rental guidelines help you install, use and return your items correctly, in line with our general rental conditions.
Installing your rental drapes
- Wear clean gloves while handling rental curtains or screens.
- Cover the floor during installation to prevent dust or stains.
- Always hang flame-retardant textiles in a dry indoor environment.
- Most of our rental curtains have tielines or hook-and-loop fasteners for easy mounting.
Folding instructions
Correct folding keeps rental curtains and projection screens in top condition.
For curtains:
- Follow the ShowTex folding instructions for curtains.
- Place the curtain carefully into the bag.
- Keep the ShowTex label visible outside the bag.
For projection screens:
- Follow the dedicated screen folding steps carefully.
- Ensure the label remains visible outside the storage box.
- Avoid sharp creases or pressure points on the projection surface.
Improper folding may affect projection quality or fabric appearance.
Keep rental textiles dry
ShowTex rental curtains are treated with flame-retardant products. Moisture can affect their fire-retardancy.
- Do not wash rental curtains or screens.
- Avoid exposure to rain or humidity.
- Always return items completely dry.
No alterations
To ensure safe reuse, rental products must be returned in their original condition. Please do not sew, staple, glue, cut, tape or modify the fabric or screen. If adjustments are required, contact your local ShowTex office first. We will help you find a safe solution.
Returning your rental items
- Return all items on or before the agreed end date, during business hours.
- Make sure everything is clean, dry and undamaged.
- Check that all components are included.
All returned items are inspected within five working days. Any damage, moisture or missing parts will be handled according to the rental agreement.
