BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Time to roll up your sleeves! By arranging business development meetings and attending trade shows and industry events, you’ll get to know the market, its key players, and emerging trends inside out. Your strong organizational skills will help you prepare thoroughly for every opportunity, because you know that good preparation is the key to success.

But your ambitions go beyond that. As a driven business developer, you’ll actively work to increase sales, explore new markets, and identify opportunities for growth.

And of course, you won’t be doing it alone. Together with your colleagues, you’ll develop strategies to respond to industry developments and stay ahead of emerging trends. After all, we share one goal: growing our client portfolio.

SALES

A knack for sales? Absolutely! You’re passionate about proactive selling and thrive on solving problems creatively. You enjoy finding the best solutions for your clients, providing them with the right samples and marketing materials, and preparing accurate, realistic quotes. Customer satisfaction is always your top priority.

And at ShowTex, nobody is too proud to ask for advice. You’re not afraid to reach out to colleagues and other departments to find the best solutions and ensure the highest level of customer service.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

You thrive on managing challenging projects from start to finish. From site visits, surveys, and measurements to coordinating with the production, shipping, and installation teams, you ensure every detail is taken care of. You remain involved throughout the entire process, providing on-site support during events when needed and maintaining regular communication with clients every step of the way.

Your commitment doesn’t end when the sale is complete. You follow up with clients to gather their feedback, ensure their satisfaction, and identify opportunities for improvement. You’re always looking for ways to refine your own approach and contribute to making our processes even better.

CURIOUS HOW WE SEE YOU?

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

You have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing projects from start to finish, ideally in event textiles, event production, audiovisual production, or the entertainment industry. You’re also willing to travel internationally and, when required, work abroad.

PERSONALITY AND SKILLS

You have a technical mindset and a solution-oriented approach, allowing you to turn challenges into practical solutions. You’re adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. You’re organised, punctual, and eager to learn, with the initiative to make a meaningful contribution from day one. Your keen eye for detail helps you maintain high standards while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality requirements.

Teamwork: You work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and technical crews, to align objectives and ensure projects run smoothly.
Customer focus: You build strong client relationships through clear communication, proactive follow-up, and effective expectation management, always keeping customer satisfaction in mind.
Problem-solving: You identify challenges early, develop practical solutions, and resolve issues efficiently to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Technical skills: You’re comfortable working with project documentation and managing schedules, resources, and relevant project information in an organised and efficient manner.
