ShowTex is a worldwide leader in inventing, manufacturing and installing the most innovative flame-retardant curtain fabrics, tracks and motion control systems for achieving the creative vision of event and entertainment professionals.

Our Australian office is eagerly looking for an all-round Administrator to grow with the company. The candidate will be the first impression of inbound callers and will support our passionate sales representatives.


  • Assure permanence at the reception and welcome visitors.
  • Answer and manage incoming telephone calls.
  • Assist sales with ongoing orders and do basic backup for when they are absent.
  • Answer sample/catalog requests and contact forms that come in through our website.
  • Update Sales ERP software (Navision).
  • File management/order processing: in cooperation with the various departments, monitor the status of pending orders and take timely action
  • Follow-up on payments before shipment
  • Follow-up on transports
  • Help with administration during installations
  • All kinds of administrative support work (order office supplies, data input, scanning/copying documents, ...)


  • Excellent Verbal and written communications skills (English).
  • Customer-friendly and polite approach at all times
  • Great communication and organizational skills
  • Optimistic and motivated team player
  • Interested and helpful (towards colleagues and clients)
  • Capable to deal with stress and high-tempo situations
  • Service and quality oriented
  • A general interest in the performing arts, event and theatre industry is a plus.
