AND YOU? ARE YOU OUR TRANSPORT COORDINATOR?

As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of all outbound and inbound shipments, ensuring "On Time - In Full" deliveries across North America.

Your main tasks?

  • Shipment Management: Plan, order, and track all outbound shipments, ensuring timely and complete deliveries. Coordinate and track all inbound shipments, maintaining a seamless flow of materials.
  • Logistics Optimization: Stay updated on the best price-quality forwarding services in the market, always striving to optimize logistics processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Request, gather, and submit all necessary shipping documents, ensuring compliance with transport and customs regulations.
  • Sales Support: Inform the sales team about shipment prices and relevant info, such as customs or import/export regulations. Provide regular feedback on actual transport costs and ensure sales amounts are aligned with these costs.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor prices and invoices from forwarding or parcel services, booked directly or indirectly, and manage data entry and contract input.
  • Process Improvement: Actively participate in developing and implementing more efficient logistics and production processes, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Customer Service: Address damages, complaints, and resolve issues promptly, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Collaboration with Warehouse Team: Consult with the warehouse team on packing methods and shipping options to optimize delivery outcomes.

CURIOUS HOW WE SEE YOU?

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar logistics or transport coordination role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of transport, customs regulations, and familiarity with multimodal transport options (air, sea, road, express).
  • Technical Skills: IT-literate with proficiency in ERP systems (experience with MS Dynamics Navision is a plus).
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a strong asset. Other languages are a plus.
  • Education: A graduate degree in logistics or a related field is beneficial.
  • Personal Attributes: Resourceful, assertive, and capable of handling fast-paced and high-tempo environments. Must be autonomous, take initiative, and excel in stress management.
