Popstars is the longest running talent contest in the world and is now broadcast in over 50 countries. Last season over 2,2 million viewers watched the season finale of the Netherlands’ version of Popstars. Now with season two in full swing on channel SBS 6, the makers are hoping to write television history once again. Popstars is number 1 on Friday nights and has a huge following on Saturdays as well.
