Nokia Concert Hall

Projectipank Production Company chose ShowTex stage drapes and curtain tracks for the entire permanent theater installation of Estonia’s new Nokia Concert Hall. Everything from the 48m wide and 11m high front curtain in Lido blue with silver stripes to the 2 backdrops, 12 legs, and 5 borders in black Goethe velvet fabric was manufactured and installed by the ShowTex team. Front curtain movement is provided by a custom ShowTrack curtain track system with TMC engine control. The scrim consists of 2 GobelinTulle panels each 14x16m. The stage’s Cyclorama is 12x25m Cyclo 150. The stage drapes for the orchestra pit are in black acoustic masking hung on a ShowTex Compact track. The hall’s 2nd balcony displays a black velvet Goethe theater curtain on a curved ShowPipe. And for the classy cloakroom…Goethe red velvet curtains lined with shiny DekoTaft on a CompactTrack system.

Opened in October, Solaris Shopping and Entertainment Center is Tallinn, Estonia’s newest venue. The multifunctional entertainment and culture centre was designed for “green conferencing” and multi-functionality. The hall’s design incorporates natural light with full glass walls and ceiling. The location’s 1800 seat theater, Nokia Concert Hall, is the first of its size in Estonia. With some of the biggest names in rock, classical, and pop music already on the marquee, it promises to keep crowds coming back for more.
