Wild, raw energy in new performance project by Wim Vandekeybus featuring Mauro Pawlowski

International dance group Ultima Vez lead by Wim Vandekeybus combines adventurous moves and rock music in their latest project. The stage design for “nieuwZwart” (Dutch for new black), as cutting edge as the show itself, includes a ShowTex dance vinyl DanceCarpet Studio printed with giant thistles. Projections on Anthracite Retro projection screens with Alushape molding cloth in between customized by Johan Daenen formed the dynamic back wall. Textured layers of gold ThinMirror foil were used to cover the stage floor and the performers at different points in the show for surreal effects while the black super wide ShowTex Dekosilk fabric also added to the intensity.

The eclectic and adventurous Belgian rock musician Mauro Pawlowski, member of Deus, composed the original music and will also accompany the performances live on stage.
