5000 meters of ShowTex acoustic stage drapes ranging in height from 12 to 19 meters were chosen for the recent Pavilhao Atlantico acoustic soft goods renovation. The Atlantic Pavillion’s selection of ShowTex for the job had much to do with recent independent acoustic tests showing the superior insulating qualities of ShowTex Wool Serge.

Built between 1996 and 1998, the facility was one of the prime stages of Lisbon’s Expo’98 and hosted close to 4 million spectators. Atlântico Hall features a 5,200 m2 arena with a capacity of 22,000 seats, Tejo Hall features a 2,200 square meter area illuminated by natural light and its Business Centre features a 100-seat auditorium and 11 meeting and conference rooms. Host to the MTV Music Awards and concerts by Madonna and Shakira, Pavilhao Atlantico remains the top Portuguese concert venue for huge names in rock and pop music.
