900 million home viewers internationally and an in house audience of 12,000 witnessed the crowning of Miss World 2009. Twinkling starcloth Chameleon RGB LED curtains from ShowLED lit up the venue in full color! ShowTex Middle East and Gearhouse South Africa provided 20 starcloths in total measuring over 500m². This entertaining pageant now in its 59th year took place in Johannesburg’s huge Gallagher Convention Center venue. 112 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown, marking the biggest turnout in the pageant's history.
