The magical Puy du Fou history theme park in France has a new show for the holiday season. With more than 1,2 million visitors per year, this is one of Europe’s most popular theme parks. A journey through time accompanied by the Prague philharmonic orchestra and choir herald in the Mystery of Christmas! Majestic ShowTex red theater curtains in rich red Bellini velvet already adorn Puy du Fou’s main theater. Measuring almost 1000m2, it’s one of the largest main curtains in the world. The current Christmas show features 70m wide by 13m high, seamless ShowTex sharkstooth scrim. Scrim is a wonderful open weave net that’s perfect for the conceal and reveal effects onstage in this show. Installed on the exclusive 70 m wide Hispeed Roll Up system, curtains can roll up and drop at rates of up to 1,5 m per second.

The Mystery of Christmas presents Egypt in the time of the Pharaohs, Rome during its era of conquest, Hebrew dances and Oriental mages. The history of the world’s most popular holiday celebrated in song and dance, laughter and magic. This already sold out show runs from December 5 to December 22.
