Our Hong Kong offices were honored to be part of the opening ceremony of the 21st Summer Deaflympics in Taipei. Two giant StretchTulle sails featured in the entertaining twelve-part opening ceremony. A 50 meter high triangle made of dimensional stretch fabric in white and a rectangular sail (10x5) really showed off the performers. Acts included singing by Taiwanese pop star A-mei, an appearance by actor Jet-Li and choreographed artistic performances themed on Taiwan's landscape, ecology, and even its food.
