ShowTex was established in 1983 as Pandora as specialists in stage building and lighting. Through the natural evolution of supply and demand, the company gravitated towards theatre and event textiles, specialising in flame retardant textiles. Since light, magic and illusion are the key factors, Pandora not only specializes in the classic theatre textiles, but also continuously strives to offer our clients innovative products to deliver daring creations.

In 2001, Pandora incorporates the Dutch theatre textile company Beyne.

In 2003, ShowTex also incorporates the company Ghigny, that operates from both Wavre (Belgium) and Lille (France).

In July 2004 “Ghigny ShowTex” becomes non-active and the names “Pandora ShowTex” and “Beyne ShowTex” are changed into “ShowTex België” and “ShowTex Nederland”, strengthening their unity when it comes to product range, quality and service.

In September 2006, ShowTex opens a new office in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

The entire ShowTex group can rely on more than 150 years of experience and craftsmanship. In our 25 years existence, ShowTex has built up a strong reputation on a national, European and world-wide level.
