The ShowTex story began in 1983 with two adventurous young men specialized in stagecraft and light design.

An intense quest for developing and improving flame retardant soft goods for the entertainment industry was generated by the exciting and endless possibilities of light and fabric combinations and the versatility and potential of textiles. Passion for innovation translated into professional partnerships with some of the world’s top theater and event productions.

Recent years have seen the growth and expansion of the business beyond the Belgian headquarters in Antwerp to incorporate ShowTex locations in the Netherlands, France, Dubai, and most recently Hong Kong providing the ShowTex group with more than 150 years of experience and craftsmanship.
