Aqua Vibrant

New Hampshire, USA
May 2017

Transformit's founder and president Cindy Thompson won a 2014 public art commission from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts to build her tensile fabric sculpture, Aqua Vibrant.

The colourful artwork was hand-painted on ShowTex StretchTulle and inspired by the New Hampshire Lakes in the US. To portray the essence of water, the seamless 5 by 26 meter white mesh was attached to the ceiling of the Community College in a wavy pattern.

Thompson: “The sculpture captures the wild rivers and streams of the Lakes Region. My intent is to trigger the energy and vibrancy of the college with this abstract river that I call "Aqua Vibrant". It is placed in a 26-meter long room connecting two buildings to inspire students to great achievements.”

Transformit offers Fabric Architecture solutions to transform interior environments with sculptural shapes and sustainable interior designs that are lightweight, easily transported and cost-effective. A vision ShowTex can easily relate to!
